This June First Friday, Silver Gulch is bringing together wild Alaska photography, original music, and a gathering of local creative talent in Fox.
Join us Friday, June 5, for an evening featuring the work of Dianne Milliard of Rambling Ranger Photography from 5PM – 9PM with live music by ‘Music Dave’ Snyderman from 6:30PM-8:30PM.
Dianne Milliard has spent more than three decades living in the rugged heart of the Wrangell Mountains in McCarthy, Alaska. Her connection to the wilderness is deeply personal, shaped by years of service as a National Park Service ranger, museum caretaker, and tour guide.
Her images reflect the vastness of Alaska: mountain light, remote cabins, wildflowers, wildlife, shifting skies, and the kind of silence that only deep country knows. She translates the spirit of wild places into functional pieces, including textiles, tech cases, and other everyday items that carry a little piece of the wilderness with them. Her portfolio is a living map of her wanderings and a window into the quiet, wild places she has called home.

Adding to the evening, Music Dave Snyderman will bring his original Alaskan folk storytelling to Silver Gulch.
Music Dave arrived in Alaska in 1999 with the U.S. military and found himself drawn to songwriting rooted in honesty, humor, and lived experience.
